With over half a million sales to his credit since his debut album "Open Secret" in 1987, Asher has composed and recorded well over a dozen albums, some early ones with poignant and spirited instrumental tracks, and, latterly a body of exceptionally beautiful love-songs with a spiritual feel.
In recent months, he has released "High Planes Music"... 15 mystical ballads with a spine-tingling intensity and beauty; and "Songs of Love and Chains"... a TRIPLE album (46 tracks), of Asher singing great love-songs by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison and many, many others.
A new studio album, the gentle, powerful and poetic "Serpent in Paradise" is an autumn 2007 release.
